Resonance in Closed Pipes

In this virtual experiment you will determine the speed of sound 
  1. ​Strike tuning for a particular frequency.
  2. Move the tube up and down to find the positions of resonance. If necessary, use the precision controller.
  3. Use the ruler to determine the length.
  4. Use the two values to determine the speed of sound. Compare your answer by showing calculations.
There is something that is called the end effect, which alters the resonance length. This is ignored here, but you can turn this ON. However, there is a methodology in this experiment that if employed will make the end effect superfluous.
